Entre a Mi Mundo
Entertainers of the Year

Entre A Mi Mundo (En: Enter My World), was the fourth album released by Latina superstar Selena, on May 6, 1992. The album presents Selena, as a star on the rise. Although, she had already achieved an impressive amount of success, with her previous albums, most notably Ven Conmigo, she reached an even larger audience with Entre A Mi Mundo. The buoyant single, "Como La Flor," set the stage for her Grammy win, the following year. Aided by the pop-savvy arrangements of her brother, A.B. Quintanilla, III, Selena confidently shifts into cumbia mode for "La Carcacha" and steps into English-language territory, with the light and breezy "Missing My Baby" signaling the mainstream crossover that would happen in earnest, around the time of her tragic death, in 1995.
